The Secular Oratory is a community of Catholic young adults inspired by the spirituality of Saint Philip Neri.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:30 at the Philadelphia Oratory, located at Saint Francis Xavier Church in the Fairmount section of the city, near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
On most Tuesdays, we begin in the church with a period of quiet prayer and Scripture sharing, discussing the readings for the coming Sunday.
From time to time, one of the members of our group will give a talk on a theological or spiritual topic. Browse the schedule to see upcoming talks and other special events, and the archives to listen to recordings of recent talks.
We always conclude the evening with time for fellowship, building relationships with one another based on our common bond of friendship with Jesus Christ.
Please call at the Parish House, 2319 Green Street, Philadelphia, and ask for the Secular Oratory meeting. Parking is available in the school parking lot on the 2300 block of Wallace Street.
